About us

Informing and empowering children, youth and citizens to take action and create impact for a sustainable planet. Environment education has been a core part of WWF-India’s work since its inception in 1969. Its three-pronged strategy focuses on building environmental awareness and knowledge, developing requisite capacity and skills, and enabling action for conservation. The 5 education programmes running in 16 states across India include: • Ek Prithvi: Building Conservation Leadership through Education • Eco-Trails: A Rendezvous with nature • One Planet Academy: Digital Hub for Conservation • WWF Volunteers: People for Planet • Wild Wisdom Quiz: Discovering the Wild Wizards
