Day 2: Industrial visit to 8012 FinTech Design Center
Thrilled to have had the opportunity to visit Intellect Design Thinking's Fintech Design Center! It was an eye-opening experience to witness how innovative design thinking principles are applied to solve real-world fintech challenges. The insights gained from this visit have further strengthened my passion for combining creativity and technology to create impactful solutions.
A big thank you to the Intellect team for the inspiring session!
Question asked by them: Which law of design thinking you liked most?why?
My answer is "THREE PRINCIPLES OF LAW OF DESIGN"
1.Less is more
2.Last 2% is 200%
3. Theory of 1000 gm, 100gm,&10gm.
Why Because,
1. Less is More: This principle encourages simplicity in design, advocating that removing unnecessary elements leads to a clearer, more efficient, and user-friendly product. You might like it because it aligns with a minimalist approach, ensuring that users aren't overwhelmed and can interact with products seamlessly.
2. Last 2% is 200: This law emphasizes that the final touches in any product or design often have the most significant impact. This resonates because, after completing 98% of the work, the last 2%-the refinements-can greatly enhance the user experience, making the product feel polished and complete.
3. 1000gm, 100gm, 10gm Theory: This law explains the importance of paying attention to detail by comparing larger components to smaller, more intricate ones. The idea is that while the larger elements (1000gm) form the foundation, the smaller details (100gm, 10gm) are crucial in creating a cohesive and excellent design. You might like it because it reminds you to focus not only on the big picture but also on the finer details, which can elevate a product from good to great.
