The new line-up takes a cue from the current trends and packs fairly loud and crisp sonics in a small package. You can pick from a variety of styles including Concrete, Avocado, Patches (the variant we received for review), Raspberry and Unicorn. The speaker can be paired with any smartphone, tablet or other devices that support Bluetooth. We love the fact that it has a tiny footprint and weighs a mere 425 grams.
How about a pool party?
Not only does the Wonderboom Freestyle offer 360-deg sound but it's rated waterproof at IPX7. Which means you can plunge it into a meter of water for 30 minutes, without having to worry about ending with a dead speaker. If that's not enough, this speaker floats on its own as you sip on another round of Margarita.
Hold me, drop me, thrill me
Another added benefit with the speaker is that it offers 10 hours of battery life. That should be enough for a fairly kickass party. You could even add one more unit and use it to double the sonic fun! The controls are extremely simple, you can Play, Pause and Skip, by pressing the button on the top of the speaker.
Planning a soccer/volleyball session in the muddy field near your house? We suggest you carry the Wonderboom Freestyle along and don't worry about kicking some slush on it. You can simply rinse it off. Neat.
Finally, if you happen to drop it accidentally, you can grin and shrug it off as this speaker is drop-proof from up to five feet. What's more? It even comes with a 2-year warranty on hardware. Is there anything that this tiny product can't do? Well, it can't make us a sandwich, which by the way is asking too much.Clearly, this is not a bad way to spend ₹6,995. However, we will put this tiny performer through its paces, hence watch out for a full review soon!
