Avowed Trump supporter, Tesla’s billionaire boss Elon Musk knoweth no courtesy and grace even as he slanders his ideological opposites with forwarded memes, manipulated posts, and AI-generated images. Only last month he shared a fake campaign video of Democrat presidential frontrunner Kamala Harris. In his latest tweet, Musk shared a Grok AI-generated image of Hariss donning a red attire that screamed communism. The tweet captioned “Kamala vows to be a communist dictator one day” was Musk’s response to Harris’s tweet on Donald Trump becoming a “dictator on day one” if elected to the White House.
Kamala vows to be a communist dictator on day one. Can you believe she wears that outfit!? https://t.co/Anu9tKQHXN pic.twitter.com/ISKFXYnSon — Elon Musk (@elonmusk) September 2, 2024
Netizens reminded Elon Musk how his Kamala Hariss Communist Dictator post was nowhere constructive. “You're inciting hate by erroneously applying abhorrent tropes, Elon,” wrote one user. Several other users applied the same meme format by rendering Elon Musk and Donald Trump images via Grok AI, featuring the duo in a Nazi outfit. Meanwhile, one user reminded Musk how X/Twitter is banned across a few countries owing to his shenanigans like these. One user asked Musk, “Aren’t you the one claiming AI is dangerous?” The user further added, “Well, yeah you are right, this is a great example.”

It’s because of posts like this, that X is being banned and restricted in other countries. — UrbanistaRamon (@UrbanistaRamon) September 2, 2024
This isn't constructive. You're inciting hate by erroneously applying abhorrent tropes, Elon. — NoNo (@Still_NoNoNo) September 2, 2024
Tell your daddy Trump to stop praising communist dictators all the time.

Twitter is banned in Russia, China, Myanmar, North Korea, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Venezuela, and Brazil. The free speech messiah Elon Musk had online beef with both the Venezuelan and Brazilian regimes off late. In principle, the billionaire’s idea of a platform sans censorship seems like a benevolent scheme; however, on hindsight, his app has become a staple of disinformation and right-wing conspiracy theories with an assault of bots.
