We are seeking an experienced FAÇADE ENGINEER to join our dynamic team specializing in Facade, Aluminium, and Glazing work. Responsibilities: - Analyze project plans, specifications, and related documents to understand the scope and requirements of each project. - Collaborate with the sales team to review client proposals and create competitive bids that align with project specifications and profitability targets. - Utilize industry-specific software and tools to create detailed take-offs and cost breakdowns for accurate estimations. - Conduct site visits and assessments to gather information and identify potential challenges or risks that may impact the project's cost and timeline. - Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of estimates with project goals and requirements. - Stay updated with industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and technological advancements related to facade, aluminum, and glazing work to provide accurate estimations. - Prepare and present estimates to clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have, and negotiating pricing and terms as necessary. - Maintain accurate records of estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to projects. - Working closely with the Facades team in standardization process to ensure rapid & quality drawing delivery. - Create detailed façade Revit family groups and CAD details. - Producing detailed, coordinated Revit models to a high level of detail wherever applicable. - Involvement in a wide variety of project types including medium to large scale projects. Your skills & experience: - Minimum 5 years of work experience in Architectural / Façade firm. - Awareness of different type of façade systems, Unitized Curtain wall, Stick system, cladding systems & materials - Having a knowledge of Logical / Orgadata software will be added advantage. - Experience working in architecture, construction, façade field. - Experience working with Autodesk Products (Revit, AutoCAD 2D / 3D). - Knowledge of Revit Families (creating and editing) shall be an added advantage. - Experience on working on large scale projects desirable but not essential. - Sound communication skills, willingness to work as part of a team, not being afraid to discuss your ideas and way of thinking. - A proactive approach to your own learning and technical development. - A keen interest in the implementation of digital design tools and scripting to improve efficiency and workflows. - Minimum BEng/BArch or higher in a relevant discipline.
