[Architecture] [built] Entrance gate of Qazvin Science and Technology Park designers : Vahid Sadraeifar - Mohammad Khamsa INSPIRATION The entrance gate is inspired by the nature of the entrances in traditional Iranian architecture, which has been updated with a modern approach, in addition, since the use and activities of the complex are related to science and technology, the details and geometry of the arches are It is designed to evoke the path of electrons around the nucleus, especially when the dynamic lighting is activated at night. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION The study process of the project started with the question posed by the employer, whether the entrance can be an element of identity while defining the entrance and providing the required spaces so that it becomes a sign of the organization and activities at the province and country level. Therefore, the definition of the project has gone far beyond the definition of an entry, so that the formalistic aspect of the project could become particularly important. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION The entrance part (project) is adjacent to a boulevard and a walking path (called Salamat Road) that goes to the heights. Also, due to the quality of the air and the wide views, many people use this path for group and individual walks at different times of the day and night. They choose. During further investigations about the project site, we found out that the walking path that is located near the entrance is a dynamic flow of people's movement that can be involved in the design process, so the entrance can play the role of a node and sign . PRODUCTION The project has two shells, including the outer shell (structural and hard, which is a combination of beams, columns and slab) and the inner shell (non-structural, in which arcs and lighting joints are embedded in metal mesh and cement with a combination of powder brick) At the same time, the part of the console, which has a length of more than 15 meters, which uses a concrete beam system with a variable cross-section and a concrete heel. [Architecture] [Competition] Winner The last genocide memorial INSPIRATION: This proposal is an attempt to answer this question (when will genocide not be repeated? In fact, through dialogue and acceptance, we can reach the stage of discovering human commonalities that are independent of color, beliefs, race and etc. This structure has found a special semantic connection between the site and the subject of the monument. From a perspective, genocide means depriving some people of life, which is the natural right of all human beings, so we likened the green space and trees to life, where there is no life at the point where the monument is located. It is actually a monument to a tree that has the potential to grow and flourish but it dries up and is deprived of life.  INTERACTION: Lost In this space, the audience has no outward view and can only see the sky that is shared everywhere. In fact, thrown to nowhere; The feeling that most victims of genocide experienced before they were killed. The audience must bend their head for entering. Respect for the victims / The identity of those present is not recognizable from the outside (all human beings are equal in any color and race) / The perpetrators of genocide do not pay attention to ‘Human aspects’ = human dimensions. RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The main questions is how can have a message for the whole world Where people of different races stand within a common Ring (unity and empathy) and where dialogue and communication begin. [Architecture] Deep, perfume house The biggest challenge of this project was that the ratio of the depth of the shop to the width overlooking the sidewalk is very high. Therefore, if a showcase was placed in front of the store according to the routine, it would cause the capacity and variety of products that were in the store to be ignored. Therefore, we started with the question of how the shop window should be, which shows the size of the store and the high variety of perfumes and invites to enter. [Architecture] [Competition] Brain complexity In the design of the neurology hospital, the head of the neurology hospital has thought about how the entrance can express the complexities of the brain while providing the border between inside and outside, or how it can point to the importance of the brain. In response, we arrived at a typed modular structure, the way they were arranged made it look complicated. In fact, a network of events formed around cores (guard chambers).  The structure is a metaphor of brain neurons. [Architecture] Interwoven Building design for the office department of a factory that operates in the field of producing concrete structures and elements. In the design process, we were looking for a strategy that could emphasize the richness and diversity of the prefabricated concrete products of this complex, and at the same time bring diverse and high-quality spaces to the employees. Therefore, we finally reached a structure that, at the same time, has the most use of the company's products, and in a way, it can be an example and a positive advertisement of the company's products. [Architecture] [Competition] Flow, Entrance gate of Tehran Medical Sciences Complex Practicing the issue of entrance and border has always been one of our intellectual topics, and we also believe that entrances can have their unique character in addition to their main function. At the beginning of the design process, we started with the question of how the entrance can have a concrete message related to the collection, in addition to serving the user and matching the architecture of the collection. In the first step, we considered a basic form, which, in addition to matching the architecture of the collection, is the simplest input definition. In the next step, to create a semantic and conceptual connection with the nature of the collection, we raised the question of how the entry can have a life-like nature and this time be considered a living being. Therefore, in the direction of revitalization, first by transforming the solid form into a network form, we achieved intensified shadows as if a soul had been breathed into the building. In the next step, a path was defined in the heart of the building that passers-by could enter as life-giving elements. [Architecture] [Competition] Charity Monument Since this complex is created by people’s donations, we decided to visualize this valuable action in the form of an “Architectural Element” in the design process; so that in addition to the memorial, we can show the more important aspect: “the value of donating and helping to each other”.  The “putting brick on brick” idea In this way, the “Element” is made of small and large bricks that are placed on top of each other; in fact, each brick is a metaphor of a donator’s helping that is decorated by that donator’s name. The important point is various dimensions of bricks that indicate to financial aspect of donations. However, the role of each bricks in order to build and forming of this building and the people’s pleasant intention, are showing the spiritual aspect of their donations. Therefore we tried to reflect equality of all donators’ spiritual value of their action. Following the previous topics, the desired structure should have had a single content was considered a product of the presents; thus, we created a form that represents the support and care of life and living (greenery - tree). In the next step, geometry of the element was strongly influenced by the forces of project (voids geometry, the lobby, the glass dome and the furniture) and the circular geometry in focal point space was the final product.
