As the days grow shorter and the air crisper, many of us are leaning into the cherished tradition of hygge. It's that cosy, warm feeling of contentment we create with candles, blankets, and good company. Whether it’s gathering around a fireplace, sipping tea, or simply enjoying quiet moments indoors, hygge helps us embrace the darker months with gratitude. This time of year, Denmark comes alive with these simple, comforting moments, reminding us to slow down and enjoy life’s little pleasures. What are you doing this weekend to embrace the chillier weather? #Hygge #NordicTradition #Denmark #atNorth

As part of our commitment to sustainability, we’ve partnered with Hringvarmi to transform “data into dinner” by utilizing waste heat from our ICE03 data center to grow microgreens. “We are delighted to be part of atNorth’s innovative data center ecosystem. Our partnership aims to boost Iceland’s agriculture industry to lessen the need for imported produce,” shares Hringvarmi's Justine Vanhalst, Co-Founder of Hringvarmi. In response to the rising demand for sustainable infrastructure, atNorth is expanding two of its Icelandic data centers, ICE02 and ICE03, adding 35MW and 16MW, respectively. The initial phase of ICE02’s expansion became operational in Q3 2024 and all further phases for both sites are expected to be completed in the first half of 2025. In addition, as part of our commitment to sustainability, we’ve partnered with Hringvarmi to transform “data into dinner” by using excess heat from our ICE03 data center for microgreen production. “We are delighted to be part of atNorth’s innovative data center ecosystem. Our partnership aims to boost Iceland’s agriculture industry to lessen the need for imported produce,” shares Hringvarmi's Justine Vanhalst, Co-Founder of Hringvarmi. atNorth CEO, Eyjólfur Magnús Kristinsson, adds, “We are experiencing a considerable increase in interest in our highly energy-efficient, sustainable data centers.
