What’s the key to hotel guest satisfaction? 🍹A complimentary welcome drink? 🍫Chocolates left on pillows? 🧴Hotel-branded toiletries? Not quite. Don’t get us wrong - all of the above are great touches to have in your hotel. But before you get onto the ‘surprise & delight’ part of the guest experience, you need to make sure the foundations are in place. One of those foundations (perhaps *the* foundation) is housekeeping. It goes without saying that a clean room is paramount - but your housekeeping team does so much more than that. Housekeepers tidy rooms and sort laundry without interrupting guest stays. They’re often the first to spot something that needs repairing. They keep communication flowing between maintenance and the front desk.
