Ever feel like your kitchen’s waste is silently draining your profits (and the planet)? Yeah, it’s a bigger problem than most of us want to admit. But here’s the thing—it doesn’t take a massive overhaul to start making a difference. Whether you’re dealing with over-preparation, spoilage, or packaging waste, there’s a way to do better. Want to learn how? We’ve outlined some practical strategies in our latest blog post that can help you reduce waste, boost efficiency, and—let’s be honest—sleep a little better knowing your kitchen is heading in the right direction. Recently I was in Malmö, Sweden for The Drop and was overwhelmingly inspired by all of the amazing innovations for sustainability. The day after I enjoyed the city with Renata, Julia, and Björk (my fellow food waste reduction gals - Melta GreenBytes). I noticed the artfully put-together cafe display case (pictured) which prompted me to think about when I was working in a bakery and was told it was better to overproduce than to have an empty display. Here are some of my thoughts on this and how you can beef up your display cases creatively to reduce food waste: https://lnkd.in/eY6T65pS Check out other blog posts, by me and my colleagues Gijs and Renata at https://lnkd.in/eQ66dEwe
