📊 🔍 Colour map in 3D scanning - precise analysis of product quality In production, every detail matters - even the smallest deviation can affect #quality, functionality and the assembly process. To ensure that products are fully in line with the documentation and to eliminate potential errors, we use 3D scanning. One of its most advanced tools is the colour map, which allows #precise analysis of the differences between the actual product and the CAD model. How does it work and what are its advantages? ✅ Problem identification - The colour map allows you to quickly locate bulges, collapses or other imperfections that might be missed with standard visual inspection. ✅ Minimising complaints - With precise analysis, potential problem areas can be eliminated before the product is launched. ✅ Assembly optimisation - Detecting assembly difficulties as early as the design stage allows rapid response and modification of the design. An excellent example of the use of a colour map is the project carried out at our Rotovia Miedzyrzecz plant for #renewable energy customer Energyminer GmbH. Innovation sometimes starts with... pizza! 🍕 Did you know that pizza has played a unique role in the history of our company? On 'World Pizza Day', we're going back to the remarkable moment when the first product, pepperoni pizza, was created in our electric #rotomoulding oven!🎉 On 12 October 2012, we baked a huge pizza in our modern electric oven in Iceland. This event was not only a culinary curiosity but became a symbol of our innovation and commitment to #sustainability. 👍 The project was done in close collaboration with Sæplast and Reinhardt India. With its impressive specifications - all-electric, three straight arms and a power output of 864 kW - the #machine represented a breakthrough in our production. Equipped with 96 heating elements of 9 kW each, the machine was one of the first in the world to enable rotational #moulding using only electricity. 🌍 The result ❓ A reduction in CO₂ emissions by 5,530 tonnes since 2013 is equivalent to the production of 1,200 passenger cars per year! 🚗 But let's get back to the pizza. 🍕 Our experiment showed that Rotovia's #technologies are not only precise and energy-efficient but also versatile. The pizza was perfectly baked - proof of the oven's even heat distribution and efficiency. The tasting? Excellent! 😊 Today, our oven no longer bakes pizzas but helps create #sustainable plastic products daily. Together for safety - Safety Week in Rotovia 👍 #Safety is the basis that unites the entire Rotovia community. In October, we celebrated Safety Week at all our plants as a reminder that caring for the health and comfort of #employees is key to creating a safe working environment. ✔️ The week was filled with a variety of workshops, training, and employee engagement activities. First aid exercises, fire training, and environmental protection workshops helped us deepen our #knowledge and prepare for emergency situations. In addition, all those wishing to do so could take health measurements such as BMI or blood pressure, a step towards greater #health awareness. Safety Week is more than a one-time event for us - it is an integral part of the daily working culture at Rotovia.
