What at an intense and enriching week has been for a-fact! On Tuesday Andrea Rossi and Pierluigi Turco were invited to review the students March of the Sustainable Environmental Design course of the Architectural Association, as ex alumni, they shared suggestions and tips on how to approach design to achieve the free running target in their dissertation project that the course requires. Some inspiring ideas from the new generation of young architect exploring sustainable architecture in all the part of the globe. Thanks Paula Cadima for the invitation. On Wednesday a-fact was invited in the beautiful crafted new home of Hawkins\Brown to host the cpd "Tackling environmental, economic, and social challenges with fact-based sustainability". It was humbling and inspiring being part of the family for a day, but also very encouraging to get positive feedback on the projects we are working on and our vision of architecture. Thanks again to Nick Gaskell and Francesco Montaguti for inviting us and for their continous support and insights. On Thursday a-fact joined Perspective Uk 2024, a remarkable event organised by THE PLAN in the beautiful location of Church House Westminster. Here our design partner Pierluigi Turco joined, together with Jason Flanagan (#flanaganLawrence) and Thomas Smith and Alice Lindquist from #dMFK, the panel moderated by the brilliant Giovanni iasevoli “Authenticity and Hybrid Spaces in Dialogue: The importance of crafting multi-functional programs with a soul, ensuring both asset longevity and meaningful user experience” Andrea Rossi Pierluigi Turco Giovanni Sanna

📚 Meet Our Master's Professor, 𝘼𝙧𝙘𝙝. 𝘼𝙣𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙖 𝙍𝙤𝙨𝙨𝙞! Andrea Rossi is an architect specialised in integrated environmental design, adaptive architecture and low-energy masterplans and buildings with more than 10 years of experience in Italy, UK, Middle East and South America. He graduated in Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Turin, after one year at KTH Royal Institute of Technologies in Stockholm. In 2015, Andrea graduated as MArch in Sustainable Environmental Design at the Architectural Association School of Architecture with the dissertation project ‘Migrant Centre and Primary School in Lampedusa’, winning the Best Poster Award at PLEA 2015 Architecture in (R)evolution. From 2015 to 2017, Andrea worked at ChapmanBDSP environmental engineering company, contributing to the design and delivery of world-class projects, among which the LSE Paul Marshall Building (London, UK) by Grafton Architects, The Tower DCH (Dubai, UAE) by Calatrava A&E and D3 Dubai Design District (Dubai, UAE) Foster+Partners. From 2017 to 2022, Andrea worked at MC A - Mario Cucinella Architects as Project Director, delivering many projects among which MIND - Milan Innovation District (Milan, IT), Santa Giulia District (Milan, IT), Nice Headquarters (Limeira, BRA) and BBS Bologna Business School campus (Bologna, IT). In 2022, together with Giovanni Sanna and Pierluigi Turco, Andrea founded a-fact to continue developing and building complex, innovative and international architectural and masterplan projects.
