Designed by Carlotta de Bevilacqua, Funivia is a lighting system that redefines spatial dynamics by offering flexibility, sustainability, and innovation. The system is based on a supporting and conductive cable that seamlessly distributes energy, creating a fluid network of light without predefined paths or rigid structures. Through minimal fastening elements, the cable runs freely across walls, ceilings, and floors, integrating seamlessly with any space. Lighting fixtures attach to the cable via a bridge element, allowing for precise positioning and wireless control via the Artemide APP or local dimming. Funivia is a sustainable solution that reduces material waste and adapts to any environment, making it ideal for projects requiring flexibility and high-performance lighting. We are proud to see Artemide lighting playing a key role in the complete transformation of this residential interior. The project redefines the functional layout of the home, addressing the challenges of a narrow, elongated structure by optimizing natural and artificial light to create a harmonious balance with the materials, furnishings, and colors. Artemide’s Tolomeo Mega Suspension and Tolomeo Mega Floor lamps bring elegance and adaptability to the living area, enhancing the versatility of the redesigned space. Meanwhile, Discouri, with its pure and minimalist design, integrates seamlessly into the environment, creating a refined interplay between light and architecture. Through thoughtful design choices, the lighting is not just functional but becomes a vital part of the visual narrative, establishing a continuous dialogue with natural light and creating warm, inviting atmospheres. This project exemplifies how Artemide combines design and innovation to illuminate everyday life with beauty and purpose. We are proud to support Triennale Milano as technical partner of the new exhibition at the Museum of Italian Design, directed by Marco Sammicheli and designed by Luca Stoppini. Forme Mobili explores the dynamic interaction between body, silhouette and movement, presenting over 200 objects from the museum's permanent collection. Organised in ten thematic sections, the exhibition explores the profound connections of Italian design with craftsmanship, artistic inspiration and its enduring contribution to Made in Italy. Our La Linea 25, each 10 metres long, illuminate Stoppini's installation, creating a unique visual language that reflects the vibrant and mobile essence of the exhibition.
