We are proud to share our 2023 sustainability achievements 🌎 which put at the centre our communities: 🏭 we have reduced our greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1 & Scope 2 Market Based) by 60% over the past 5 years; 🌞 🍃 💧 as of last year, 100% of our electricity was generated by renewable sources, in the countries in which Artsana operates globally, through renewable energy certificates, already achieving the target set for 2026. 👩🏫 we offered advice and assistance through different courses attended by more than 16.000 parents. These results are the fruit of a constant commitment and conscious choices. Chicco puts the needs and safety of children at the heart of everything, which is why we are committed to offering the best solutions for the well-being of little ones every day. Thanks to the Chicco Research Center, we work closely with the medical-scientific world to guide product development, including car seats. By working together with Prof. Massimo Agosti, Neonatologist, Director of the Maternal-Infant Department of the Del Ponte Hospital in Varese and Prof. Luana Nosetti, Pediatrician, Head of the SIDS Center in Varese, and Pediatric Physiotherapist Valentina Carugo, we subject our products to pediatric and postural evaluations through the observation of specific indicators and the measurement of vital parameters of children in car seats. In Artsana protecting and taking care of the environment is at the core of its own choices and actions every day: in 2023, Artsana purchased 100% renewable electricity in all the countries in which it operates globally, to reduce market-based Scope 2 GHG emissions through renewable energy certificates, already achieving the target set for 2026. Also this year Artsana has been nominated in the top 240 Italian «Sustainability Leaders» according to the survey conducted by Il Sole 24 Ore and Statista. The research analysed 45 indicators referred to Environmental, Social and Governance topics, and highlights the companies with more attention to social and environmental themes, also toward workers and customers. Thanks to our Corporate Museum, the Toy Horse Museum, Chicco is committed to preserving the past and sees culture as a bridge between generations. The Toy Horse Museum, founded in 2000 by Pietro Catelli, Order of Merit for Labour, is the first and to date the only museum in the world dedicated to the toy horse, one of the symbols of childhood. The Museum preserves precious testimonies of the past and is committed to educating the adults of tomorrow with activities, consistent with its collection, aimed at children, families, and those who care for children. It stimulates children's imagination and brings them closer to beauty and corporate culture in a simple and playful way.
