A strong commitment 💪 to our planet 🌎 is a significant stride towards a sustainable tomorrow! For this reason, Artsana has committed to set science-based targets in line with @Science Based Target initiative (SBTi) criteria and recommendations. SBTi is a global body enabling companies and financial institutions to set ambitious emissions reduction targets in line with the latest climate science and play their part in combating the climate crisis, to halve global emission before 2030 and achieve net-zero before 2050. In the last 5 years Artsana had reduced its GHG emissions (Scope 1 and Scope 2 market based) by 60%, and last year 100% of electricity was generated from renewable sources through the purchase of certified energy in all the countries in which Artsana operates globally. This commitment will further guide us in setting near-term science-based emissions reduction targets, actively contributing to the fight against climate change for a more sustainable future for our communities. Celebrate World Environment Day and protect our planet! How are you making a difference on your environment? In Artsana protecting and taking care of the environment is at the core of its own choices and actions every day: in 2023, Artsana purchased 100% renewable electricity in all the countries in which it operates globally, to reduce market-based Scope 2 GHG emissions through renewable energy certificates, already achieving the target set for 2026. Also this year Artsana has been nominated in the top 240 Italian «Sustainability Leaders» according to the survey conducted by Il Sole 24 Ore and Statista. The research analysed 45 indicators referred to Environmental, Social and Governance topics, and highlights the companies with more attention to social and environmental themes, also toward workers and customers.
