    Last March 10th, Marco Bonazzi, our Product Compliance Manager Baby Care Hard Goods, participated in a workshop on inclusiveness in product safety—a crucial topic under the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) organized in Brussels by the European Commission. The aim of the workshop📈 was to share challenges and best practices, to shape concrete ideas 💡 and recommendations for safer and more inclusive products, because products must be safe for all, including consumers in vulnerable positions—whether due to age, disability, physical or cognitive factors, or other differences.     🚀 Workshop on inclusiveness in product safety 🚀 On Monday, we had the privilege of bringing together manufacturers, product designers, and market surveillance authorities in Brussels for an insightful and action-driven workshop on inclusiveness in product safety—a crucial topic under the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR). Why does this matter? Because products must be safe for all, including consumers in vulnerable positions—whether due to age, disability, physical or cognitive factors, or other differences. 💡 What we explored:
🔹 The inclusiveness provisions in the GPSR and their practical implications.
🔹 Expert insights on anthropometrics, cognitive, age-related, gender, and disability challenges in product safety.
🔹 Blind spots in inclusive product safety. 🔹 Best practices to ensure that products are safe for all. 🛠 How we worked:
💬 In small, interactive groups, participants shared challenges and best practices, shaping concrete ideas and recommendations for safer and more inclusive product design.
👀 An immersive experience, allowing participants to test everyday products from different perspectives, challenged our assumptions about accessibility and safety. 🚀 What’s next?

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Alberto Rivolta as our new CEO, effective January 2025.   Holding a degree in Management Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano and bringing extensive leadership experience in retail, digital transformation, and international markets, Alberto joined Artsana in 2022 as CEO of Prénatal and later as CEO of PRG Retail Group. His proven track record and visionary approach position him perfectly to guide Artsana Group into its next chapter of growth and innovation. Alberto Rivolta commented: “I am honored to lead Artsana Group, an emblem of Italian excellence worldwide for over 75 years.     A strong commitment 💪 to our planet 🌎 is a significant stride towards a sustainable tomorrow!   For this reason, Artsana has committed to set science-based targets in line with @Science Based Target initiative (SBTi) criteria and recommendations.   SBTi is a global body enabling companies and financial institutions to set ambitious emissions reduction targets in line with the latest climate science and play their part in combating the climate crisis, to halve global emission before 2030 and achieve net-zero before 2050.   In the last 5 years Artsana had reduced its GHG emissions (Scope 1 and Scope 2 market based) by 60%, and last year 100% of electricity was generated from renewable sources through the purchase of certified energy in all the countries in which Artsana operates globally.   This commitment will further guide us in setting near-term science-based emissions reduction targets, actively contributing to the fight against climate change for a more sustainable future for our communities.
