Capital One, the U.S. banking giant, in collaboration with Islyn Studio, has envisioned a new hybrid bank-café concept that goes beyond traditional boundaries—an environment where a positive moment of pause is intertwined with finance, a space to celebrate communities and redefine the meaning of well-being, both aesthetically and experientially. One of the biggest challenges in designing this space was finding the right balance between two distinct types of activities, one of which required strict legal and security parameters. With this vision in mind, an environment was created that embodies simplicity, ingenuity, and humanity. A place free from formalities, where everyone is welcome to relax, reflect, and recharge. The project involved intelligent space planning and programmatic innovation, continuously questioning industry conventions. At the heart of this hybrid space is a central hub—where workshops, local events, and informal banking conversations seamlessly integrate with food and beverage offerings. During Milan Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2025-2026, Prada unveiled the "Raw Glamour" collection, exploring a new definition of femininity. The show took place in the storage space of Fondazione Prada, transformed into a setting reminiscent of a world under construction. The runway featured metallic scaffolding and geometric-patterned carpets, creating a striking contrast between industrial elements and refined details. Developed by Zaha Hadid Architects, the center marks a strategic step in Beijing’s urban expansion, reinforcing its role as a global hub for professional events. The architectural concept is based on an innovative "ribbon" design that seamlessly integrates all facilities. Elevated walkways connect the exhibition halls, conference center, and on-site hotel, ensuring smooth circulation and an optimized visitor experience.
