We are therefore more than pleased to have sponsored the German Craft Skills in Refrigeration Plant Assemblers at this year's Chillventa. The winners prevailed against a strong field of competitors after they had to complete a typical industry task under the supervision of a jury. On the third day of the trade fair, 10 October, the German Association of Refrigeration Contractors (Bundesinnungsverband des Deutschen Kälteanlagenbauerhandwerks – BIV) awarded the German championship to the young winners and their winning company. With F-Gas Regulation 2024/573 and potential PFAS bans, Europe is heading for a future based on minimal use of HFCs. To ensure investments over the long term, 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗜𝗧𝗭𝗘𝗥 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 when planning new refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump systems based on BITZER components in the EU. We at BITZER have offered components for R717 (ammonia) since 1973, for hydrocarbons since 1990 and for R744 (CO2) since 1998. At Chillventa, we showcase innovations from our extensive product portfolio for natural refrigerants.
