Moiré Chanvre Wall https://lnkd.in/dMwWPTbt A wallcovering that draws its character from the matt material of hemp and linen and its light from moiré. The wavy pattern imprinted by hand by the craftsman inundates the surface with light. The colour range is wide and soft: the subdued but character-rich tones suit the two natural fibres that entirely make up the fabric. Last September, Dedar and Hotel Designs, leading international hotel design website, invited eight interior designers from some of the highest-end studios in the UK for a roundtable to discuss the global influences in hotel design at Dedar showroom in Design Centre Chelsea Harbour, London. During the panel, the topic was approached from different angles: in particular, how projects are influenced by global trends but also by specific local characteristics that identify the area in which the project is realised. The roundtable was also the occasion to present the new September 2024 collection of fabrics, transparencies and wallcoverings enlivened by embroideries and artistic touches, which reinterpret and enrich the Dedar White Writings family. https://lnkd.in/dkS4nxCE Pirajean Lees BradyWilliams THDP DesignLSM David Collins Studio Tara Bernerd & Partners Muza Lab #dedar #dedarmilano #interiordesign #homedecor #fabrics

White Writings Sheers https://lnkd.in/d8XZeh3D Precious embroideries recount subtle and abstract decorative motifs of various inspirations: signs that vibrate, devoid of colour, in the expressive purity of the White Writings family. From the compact look of Cielo and Aplomb to the textural irregularity of Wide Linen Sablé, fabric grounds embrace the light, which filters through and inhabits each room in a different manner. Dedar frames Studio Ossidiana's “Massi Erratici” project https://lnkd.in/dDWkBN_F The Italian design duo Studio Ossidiana transforms the entrance of the Galleria D'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea in Bergamo with a dynamic and flexible installation made of recycled stones and materials. “Massi Erratici” consists of modular surfaces and volumes conceived as independent fragments, to be moved and combined according to the different museum activities. “These ‘Erratic Boulders’ are framed by semi-transparent emerald curtains, Dedar's Volare fabric, defining an entrance apse, backdrops for works of art, and opening onto a bookcase, displaying different books each time,” say designers Alessandra Covini and Giovanni Bellotti. “According to the theories of Gottfried Semper and Adolf Loos, textiles and carpets are the first form of architecture, whose decorations were then engraved and coloured into durable materials such as stone.” Studio Ossidiana Massi Erratici, 2024 GAMeC - Galleria d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Bergamo 2024 Courtesy GAMeC - Galleria d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Bergamo Ph. Dedar in projects | Park Hyatt Milano https://lnkd.in/dhABwqzK Embellished with warm materials and soft nuances, the new Signature Suites of the Park Hyatt Milan hotel share the typical stylistic mark of a sober modernity, with discreet and timeless elegance. ‘“Fabrics are the medium I have selected to recount the light and colours of the Milanese sky’”, explains architect Flaviano Capriotti, curator of the project. “Here we find neutral shades combined with golden yarns that literally sparkle and bring luminosity to the rooms, while other nuances echo the hues of the sunset in a palette that goes from yellow ochre to orange’”.
