The project, WHISPER (Wound Healing in Space: Problems and Perspectives for Tissues Regeneration and Engineering), is focused on developing cutting-edge solutions for wound healing and tissue regeneration both on Earth and in space. 🌌 As part of this ambitious ESA-funded initiative, ASA Laser has provided its advanced laser technology to assess its effectiveness in treating wounds with healing complications. This collaboration is bridging the gap between academia and industry, accelerating the transformation of innovative research into real-world applications. The promising results of WHISPER hold immense potential not only for space missions but also for healthcare on Earth! 🚀🩺 The WHISPER project is a key part of ESA’s “SciSpacE Microgravity Application Promotion Programme”, which focuses on optimizing biological processes, generating valuable data for industrial research, and studying physiological changes in space that could lead to new clinical solutions here on Earth. A week ago, Barbara Bazzocchi, a key co-founder of El.En. Group, passed away.   Barbara Bazzocchi played a crucial role in our company’s growth from the beginning, helping us become a global leader in laser technology.
