I just got back from Geneva, Switzerland, where, in the last couple of days, I attended the World Economic Forum's Senior Executive Meeting on Clean Power, Grids, and Electrification.   This exclusive gathering brings together leaders from business, government, civil society, and philanthropy to collaborate on solutions for an urgent and responsible energy transition; it serves as a platform to advance strategies and implement actions for deploying clean power, enhancing grid infrastructure, and promoting the shift towards electrification at scale.   At Energy Dome, we're contributing to this transformation through our innovative #CO2Battery, which is proof of how sustainable, long-duration energy storage can support a more flexible and resilient energy system.   The agenda was rich with discussions that address the challenges and opportunities in the energy sector, such as the integration of variable renewables and the increasing demand for electricity—highlighting the critical need for flexibility and robust energy storage solutions.   I truly relished engaging in sessions focused on accelerating advanced energy technologies and contributing to conversations about responsible deployment and sustainable practices, areas where Energy Dome's technology stands ready to make an impact.   Engaging with global leaders and policymakers who share a commitment to sustainability underscores the power of collaboration. Celebrating a Milestone with Elemental Impact!   As our project in Wisconsin rolls out, we wanted to take a moment to thank Elemental Impact, a trusted nonprofit organization that invests in companies driving positive environmental change. Through their guidance and expertise (as well as dollars!), Elemental Impact has been instrumental in shaping our journey, particularly in understanding the vital importance of community engagement.   Joining Elemental Impact's Cohort 11 in 2022 has been a key milestone in our evolution and growth. What a week in Paraguay! Energy Dome is represented by our own Ernesto Heyer Guerrero and Manlio F. Energy Dome had an incredible time Down Under! We attended All Energy Australia, the nation's leading clean energy event in Melbourne, where the feedback and interest in our technology was nothing short of extraordinary. With a projected need for 22GW of energy storage by 2030 and 49GW to reach net-zero targets, it was absolutely obvious to many of the conference attendees that our scalable #CO2Battery is going to play a key role in Australia's clean energy future (and that it will do so very soon). The first of many CO2 Batteries in the U.S. Exciting news! We've just signed our first U.S. supply contract with Alliant Energy to bring our cutting-edge #CO2Battery technology to Wisconsin (Columbia Energy Storage Project), marking a critical leap forward in long-duration energy storage.   What makes this even more exciting for me personally is that we've already kicked off the project, wasting no time.   That's because our hardworking project managers and engineers already held the kickoff meeting with the equally dedicated Alliant Energy team, and I can feel the momentum building.   This is just the beginning.
