A €26m AMTCE - Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre of Excellence has officially opened in Dundalk, providing cutting-edge training in robotics, 3D printing, cyber security, and more. Supported by Enterprise Ireland and the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, the centre is a key investment in Ireland’s future workforce and global competitiveness. Enterprise Ireland is celebrating the international success of Irish companies with over sixty business events across fifty two cities this week to mark St. Patrick's Day. Thirty of the international business events will take place in the US, with Taoiseach Micheál Martin leading Enterprise Ireland's business event series there. Enterprise Ireland has announced the opening of three new offices in Atlanta, Scotland, and Switzerland. These offices will support Irish companies expanding into high-growth industries such as fintech, offshore wind, medtech, and pharma. With this expansion, Enterprise Ireland now operates 42 international offices across 26 countries, reinforcing its commitment to achieving €50 billion in client exports by 2029. The St. Patrick’s Day business events are also seeing major international announcements from Irish companies, including: - Gladcloud (Netherlands) – Global deal with Heineken for social media marketing. - H&MV Engineering (Germany) – New Frankfurt office to support renewable energy projects. - Transit9 | Transport Operations (Australia) – Partnership with Transdev Sydney Light Rail. - DP Energy Group (Australia) – Approval for Callide Wind Farm to power 130,000 homes. - Kubicle, Catalyst Software and 42Crunch (Australia) - Each opening new offices to meet growing demand for data, software technology, and AI upskilling - Aerogen (India) – New office in Delhi to expand medtech innovation. - Osborne - Recruitment Consultancy (Canada) – Expansion with a new Ottawa office. The annual Women in Leadership Programme took place at the Metlife building in Manhattan on Tuesday. The event commenced with speeches by Minister Jennifer Carroll MacNeill TD and Chairman of Enterprise Ireland, Michael Carey, who emphasised the importance of women’s representation and access to capital. Gemma Allen hosted Marta Parke, CEO of Hyperlink in a live Forbes interview, where Marta shared her inspiring journey to success against all odds. The gathering concluded with an executive coaching session by speaker and writer, Henna Pryor, who discussed the evolving psychology of influence. Minister Paschal Donohoe’s St. Patrick’s Day visit to Germany included a stop at the Frankfurt office of Enterprise Ireland client company H&MV Engineering. He met with senior leadership team members Dr. Ralf Bucher and Declan Wynne, ahead of the office’s official opening later this week. Headquartered in Limerick, H&MV Engineering entered the German market in 2021 and has rapidly expanded its presence due to its success in data sector construction and grid interfaces, supporting Germany’s transition towards renewable energy sources.
