ETRO is New Tradition, the sum of artisan know-how and creative experimentation. The entrepreneurial venture began in 1968, when Gimmo Etro, the brand’s visionary founder, launched a production of highly prestigious fabrics using noble and natural fibres, which he embellished with original designs and innovative colour ways. In 1981 the furnishing textiles line made its debut. The Paisley motif used to enrich the first collection was set to become ETRO’s mark of identity. The product range added another string to its bow in 1984 with leather goods and the bag collection in Paisley jacquard fabric. The launch of the home accessories and complements collection, in 1986, and the creation of the perfumes division, in the late 1980s, consolidated the brand’s lifestyle concept. The 1990s saw the unveiling of the first men’s and women’s prêt-à-porter collections, their inventive and recherché style earning the label instant recognition. The materials, the workings and a special talent with prints are what make ETRO unique and unrepeatable.

Always at the forefront of technology and innovation, ETRO will be the world’s first fashion house to broadcast an immersive live runway show using the Apple Vision Pro headset, a cutting-edge device that offers an entirely new way to engage with digital content, seamlessly blending augmented reality with the user's environment. After participating in the first Metaverse Fashion Week in March 2022 and launching the AI- driven Nowhere advertising campaign for Spring/Summer 2024, ETRO is once again pushing boundaries with its pioneering and experimental spirit, offering a select group of guests an interactive experience that bridges the physical and digital worlds. The ETRO event presents a unique opportunity for guests, as only those who wear the device will be able to relive the runway show by downloading and connecting to the app developed exclusively by MMN— IT Solution Provider of the Bechtle Group and the first Italian company to invest in a Spatial Computing Competence Center specializing in the development of native Vision Pro applications dedicated to companies and organizations worldwide in the B2B and Education worlds that want to build new ways of living and working. Located on the ground floor, the boutique spans 70 square meters and showcases Etro’s full range of Ready-to-Wear collections and fragrances. The interior design exudes sophistication and elegance, reflecting Etro’s unique aesthetic. Featuring a beige color palette, the space is adorned with signature decorative elements such as #paisley patterns, terracotta floors, rough limestone, and gradient carpets—seamlessly blending Etro’s traditional craftsmanship with modern design. In this magical setting, #EtroKids embark on a new adventure, surrounded by the contrast of white’s lightness against the iconic #Paisley motif, creating a garden of dreams. The collection offers a fresh, junior take on Etro's signature style, blending iconic patterns with modern touches.     Etro unveils its Fall/Winter 24-25 ad campaign, drawing inspiration from the mystique of Homeric legends. This campaign captures the essence of ancient Greek theater through a series of captivating tableaux vivants, set against the serene and majestic backdrop of the Messina Strait—the birthplace of our creative director, Marco De Vincenzo. In this dreamlike world where reality meets fantasy, Etro's intrepid travelers are seen aboard a boat as it drifts into the quaint port of Capo Peloro, a picturesque fishing village at the northernmost point of the island. Amidst breakwaters, crystalline waters, and striking rock formations, these voyagers find themselves in a land unknown—a place that, as De Vincenzo puts it, "reminds us that discovery is a journey without a map, where chance dictates, and serendipitous encounters prove to be pivotal." With this campaign, Etro continues to blend timeless elegance with contemporary flair, crafting a modern myth where beauty intertwines with art, and the classic is continually reimagined. The collection showcases an aesthetic rich in color and contrast, featuring fluid silhouettes, luxurious knits, and protective fabrics adorned with shiny foils, jacquard patterns, and signature Paisley motifs.     At the 81st #VeniceFilmFestival, during the premiere of Pablo Larraín’s film Maria, Etro introduced the Etro x Wolford collaboration, first revealed at the FW24 runway show. Eva Herzigova made a striking appearance in an ETRO x WOLFORD “Paisley Tattoo” jacquard jersey jumpsuit, complemented by a draped black silk jersey bodysuit with a crossover neckline and back tail.
