We wish to pay tribute to a great man who we sadly lost a few days ago. Francesco Merloni, second generation owner of the Ariston Group, politician, engineer, and above all, a family man, passed away on 1st October.   Apart from his many national and international achievements, Francesco Merloni was always proud and dedicated about where he came from. Marche was always in his heart and the great contribution he made to the growth of the industry and economy in Fabriano and Marche is one of his many lasting legacies.   We at Faber send our deepest condolences to his family on their sad loss.

Earlier this month, Faber S.P.A. participated in the 2024 edition of Future Campus Fabriano. This year, Giorgio Rossi, Plant Manager of Sassoferrato factory and Lucia Corrieri, Human Resources Manager at Faber were on hand to give invaluable advice and presentations to students from the Marche region. Giorgio Rossi presented about who Faber is as a company and what we do. He explained about the Sassoferrato factory, and what we produce there, the processes in place in the production line and the overall organization and other values. He especially focused on the importance and value of human capital, inspiring the students about how certain skills and abilities are highly regarded, and that ultimate success comes from learning from mistakes, making sacrifices and above all, a team following an overall vision. Lucia Corrieri participated in a session dedicated to helping students to be better prepared for the working world tomorrow. A series of practice job interviews were prepared and Lucia offered students very important HR insights and tips to remember when they will eventually be involved in job interviews. It’s a great pleasure for us at Faber to be connected and involved in this vitally important initiative. We are deeply connected to our roots, and want to give the best opportunities to the future, so that our local region can grow and become stronger.
