Innovation will always be at the heart of Ferrero. In the 23/24 financial year, we expanded our brands into new market categories and made them available in more regions. In the year Nutella turned 60, we introduced Nutella Ice Cream - the first packaged ice cream by Nutella. On top of that, our Kinder brand extended its presence in the biscuit category with Kinderini biscuits, and we made our Eat Natural and FULFIL bars available in more countries across Europe. It's what you've all been waiting for - we've taken the senses beyond the beloved taste of our unique spread and given the brand its own sonic identity with 'The Sound of Nutella'! That's right, you can now check out what Nutella sounds like with a new soundtrack which reflects the Nutella values of positivity and togetherness. We know it's music to our ears, but how was The Sound of Nutella created? From hazelnuts thrown at drums, to being tossed at guitars and even poured onto a piano, we worked with MassiveMusic to leave no stone unturned as we worked out how to make them sing. Nutella has its own exhibition! Curated and organised by the National Museum of 21st Century Art in Rome (MAXXI) MAXXI Museo nazionale delle arti del XXI secolo, the Nutella exhibition celebrates the brand's 60th anniversary and the social and the cultural role the product has played in Italy - and worldwide. Named "joyn! A journey through the world of Nutella®", the exhibition was created with illustrations from Francesca Gastone and curated by Chiara Bertini. On the 5th February, to commemorate World Nutella Day, a special event took place at the museum. Hosted by the sports journalist and TV host Pierluigi Pardo, the event celebrated Nutella's legacy and showcased the new edition of the book “Il nuovo mondo Nutella® – 60 anni di innovazione” by the journalist and writer Gigi Padovani. The celebration was also brought to life with music from innovative violinist Polo Foti, and with drawings from Greg Goya, a street artist famous for this “fast art”. Over the next couple of months, there will be even more dedicated events at MAXXI, each of which deep dive into the history of Nutella and explore why it's become a cultural icon. The exhibit is open until 20th April 2025. Visitors are invited to explore, experience, and interact!
