Another successful European installation! We are proud to announce the completion of the installation of UIH’s uMI 550 system at the Aktis Clinique in Italy. This advanced diagnostic imaging solution will significantly improve the quality of medical services provided and the accuracy of examinations offered by the facility. Aktis Clinique is an advanced medical facility specialising in diagnosis and treatment using the latest technology. The clinic offers a wide range of services including: nuclear medicine – positron emission tomography (PET) and tomo-scintigraphy, radiology – 1.5T magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), mammography, ultrasound and bone densitometry, cardiology – ECG, echocardiography, cardiac stress testing, 24-hour ECG and blood pressure monitoring. Thanks to the clinic’s modern equipment and experienced team of specialists, patients can expect the highest quality of care. The clinic operates within the Italian healthcare system, providing both publicly and privately funded services. The uMI 550 represents modern precision in diagnostic imaging. It is an advanced PET/CT system that combines state-of-the-art technology with exceptional imaging accuracy. The installation was carried out in collaboration with our business partner FORA S.p.A., who were responsible for sales and project coordination. This groundbreaking development brings innovative medical imaging technology to the Italian market, significantly raising the standard of healthcare in the region. The Aktis Centre in Marano di Napoli, Italy, is a state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic institute specialising in comprehensive outpatient care. Founded by Dr. Gianfranco Scoppa, the facility offers the highest quality diagnostic imaging and cardiology services, as well as nuclear medicine and radiation therapy. Its advanced equipment offers high technological standards, and safety is guaranteed by the constant presence of an anaesthesia and resuscitation team. Patients at the facility have rapid access to integrated medical services that allow accurate diagnosis in real time, making it a leading medical centre in the Campania region. The uCT 820 is an advanced CT scanner that is designed for precise diagnostic imaging and ensures high operational efficiency. Incorporating state-of-the-art technology, the uCT 820 combines advanced imaging capabilities with exceptional patient comfort and flexibility in clinical applications. This time it is the advanced uDR 592h digital X-ray unit that has been installed at Salus Toscana – a modern medical centre in Tuscany renowned for its high standards of diagnostics and healthcare. Salus Toscana is a state-of-the-art hospital and diagnostic centre located in picturesque Tuscany. It offers a comprehensive range of medical services, focusing on the highest standards of healthcare, advanced diagnostics and therapy. Its combination of sophisticated technology and attention to patient comfort makes it a leading regional health centre. The uDR 592h is distinguished by its imaging precision, intuitive operation and innovative solutions that improve diagnostic quality and reduce examination time, thus directly improving patient comfort and workflow efficiency. The system features a moveable U-arm that allows free positioning, greatly increasing its versatility. The uDR 592h can be used for a wide range of radiological examinations, including skeletal system imaging, trauma diagnosis, chest examinations, and specialised diagnostic procedures.
