THE OLDEST ITALIAN TIE MAKER. A story that began in 1850 in via Sirtori in Milan, when founder Germano Fumagalli opened the first office. During those years, at the end of the 1800s, it was customary to enter the old headquarters in Via Sirtori to buy a hand-sewn gauze tie from Fumagalli . After choosing a design from the archive, you could watch your tie being woven and admire the hand finishing as the fabric passed through the hand loom. in the decades that followed, Fumagalli ties and their designs became true works of art and reached enthusiasts all over the world. Today Fumagalli produces handmade ties, handkerchiefs, scarves and numerous other men's accessories with the help of experienced craftsmen and designs selected from historical archives.
