🌱🌍 This year, we had the pleasure of organizing the 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗦𝗰 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀, in collaboration with the Dipartimento Agraria Unina of the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II (UniNa) / University of Naples Federico II. In April, the Paideia Campus in Pollica was the stage for a unique educational experience that engaged international students in an immersive journey. Through field visits with farmers, fishermen, and local producers, students explored the value of sustainability and regenerative agriculture, experiencing first-hand sustainable practices and sector innovations. 🔍 Highlights? On-site visits with experts like beekeeper Pasquale Volpe, Silvia Chirico of Tenuta Chirico, and Edmondo Soffritti of the regenerative farm La Petrosa. 💻 The boot camp ended with an exciting hackathon to co-design innovative solutions for the territory. A special thanks to Director Danilo Ercolini and Professor Luigi Cembalo for their dedication to making this program innovative. We are proud to contribute to the training of future agri-food leaders with a holistic and sustainable vision. 📅 Enrollment for the new year of the Master in Sustainable Food Systems is open until the end of September! ▶️ Together with our Institutional and Industry partners, you will learn how to design, produce, and manage food production in a sustainable way. 📢 V Edizione del Premio di Giornalismo EIT Food in Italia: Le storie che ispirano! 🔍 Peter e Minke van Wingerden, protagonisti dell'articolo secondo classificato scritto da Anna Fregonara. La coppia di coniugi olandesi ha trasformato un sogno in realtà creando una milk farm galleggiante a zero emissioni nel porto di Rotterdam. Grazie alla loro innovativa azienda agricola, che funziona in completa economia circolare, producono latte sostenibile e di alta qualità. 🌿🐄 📖 La Milk Farm del Futuro https://lnkd.in/efuJ6SxD...  40 mucche che producono circa 800 litri di latte al giorno. Agricoltura senza terra: una struttura su pontoni che si adattano alle maree. 🚀 SEEDS Project Update!  🌎 Our partners involved in Work Package 2 (WP2) recently visited our 🇮🇹 Paideia Campus Living Lab for an exciting workshop led by the Future Food Institute Team on setting up Living Labs. Our partners from Morocco, Tunisia, Jordan, and Egypt, including the Institut agronomique et vétérinaire Hassan II, Institut National Agronomique de Tunisie, National Agricultural Research Center - NARC المركز الوطني للبحوث الزراعية, Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II (UniNa) / University of Naples Federico II, and ENCO Engineering and Consulting srl, collaborated on frameworks for Living Labs in their regions. 🌱 📜 👨🌾 The highlights of the in-person meeting: - Strategy: Crafting visions and roles for effective Living Labs. - Mapping: Analyzing stakeholder interactions using the quadruple helix model. - Field Experience: A visit to Agriturismo La Petrosa showcased sustainable farming practices.
