We were honoured to sponsor the event ‘Building Well-Being for People and Planet: the Role of Public-Private Partnerships’ at the 7th OECD World Forum on Well-Being. The event was co-organised with the Ministero dell'Economia e delle Finanze, with the collaboration of the Istat, and the support of the Banca d'Italia - Eurosistema. The focus of the seminar was on the need to rethink approaches to wellbeing in the context of contemporary global challenges, including climate change, demographic shifts and workforce transformations, and on the strategic role of public-private partnerships (PPPs) in addressing these issues. Cooperation is key to supporting holistic policies and resilience strategies and aims to harness the strengths of both sectors. The solution lies in a joint effort, because no single actor, public or private, can tackle our environmental and social challenges alone. Discovore more: https://bit.ly/3CqpdiQ

Generali China Insurance Co., Ltd hosted the Green Insurance Facilitating International Development of Energy Transition Forum in Beijing, to strengthen international cooperation in the energy transition.   The event was opened by Giulio Terzariol, CEO Insurance of the Generali Group, Yang Kun, Executive Vice President of the China Electricity Council, H.E. Massimo Ambrosetti PhD (Cantab), DLS (GU), MA (Oxon), Ambassador of Italy to the People's Republic of China, Marco Midolo, First Counsellor and Head of the Economic and Trade Office at the Embassy of Italy in China, Jack Yuan - CEO of Generali China Insurance, Lucia Silva - Group Chief Sustainability Officer at Generali   This occasion brought together experts, industry leaders and international institutions to discuss the urgency of a green transition and the need for global collaboration against climate change.    The increasing frequency and severity of natural catastrophes is leading to higher insurance premiums and less coverage in high-risk areas.   Meeting this challenge alone is not possible.   Companies, governments and other entities need to join forces: collaboration between the public and private sector is essential to accelerate the green transformation and build global climate resilience.    Solar and wind power are reshaping the global energy landscape, and China's contribution to this transition is increasingly significant. Chinese power companies are investing heavily in renewable energy projects, putting them at the centre of their future development.    The insights and contributions of the participants confirmed the vital role of the insurance sector in managing climate risks and protecting vulnerable areas, helping to develop innovative green and financial solutions.     Generali, as a global partner, is committed to supporting the energy transition through sustainable investments and risk protection products, guiding its clients and partners towards a resilient and sustainable future.    Together, we promote global climate resilience 🌱 #Generali4Sustainability #GreenInsurance #Sustainability

By putting the customer at the heart of what we do, we are building a future where Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is pivotal.
