⚛️ GenoGra: rivoluziona l'analisi genomica! l Comitato di Valutazione di  #IBAN ha selezionato per i mesi di gennaio e febbraio il progetto GenoGra, startup innovativa fondata a giugno del 2023, che sta cambiando il modo in cui i dati genetici sono codificati. 🧬 Grazie a una rappresentazione basata su grafi, la startup offre strumenti software per l’analisi genomica che riducono drasticamente i tempi di ottenimento dei risultati, mantenendo la qualità dell’analisi. 🧑🏻💻👩🏽💻 Con un team di ingegneri informatici e biomedici, GenoGra ha sviluppato una piattaforma intuitiva, che semplifica e standardizza i processi di analisi, riducendo il numero di strumenti necessari. Il modello B2B si rivolge a centri di ricerca, ospedali, pharma & biotech, con bioinformatici come utilizzatori finali.  La piattaforma è disponibile in modalità cloud o on-premise, con soluzioni scalabili per ogni esigenza. 🟢 From the "Chimica verde per un futuro sostenibile 2024" program - an initiative born from the partnership between Regione Lombardia and Federated Innovation @MIND - comes a cutting-edge innovation project led by ELT Group and the startup GenoGra. 🎯 The initiative aims to address a specific challenge in 𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴, by leveraging GenoGra’s expertise in graph-based machine learning (ML) and ELT Group’s extensive domain knowledge in defense and security. 🗓 The project is structured into five phases, scheduled to take place 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱. Even though 99.6% of our genome sequences are the same, there are slight differences in each person’s genome. These differences are called genomic variants. Out of the 6 billion letters in our genomes, each of us has around 4 to 5 million genomic variants! These variants could either be unique to us or show up in other people’s genomes as well. Researchers have recently completed a human pangenome reference sequence, representing more global diversity! Human populations from different ancestries have some of their own genomic variants. By having a larger reference genome that better represents different populations, researchers will be able to identify more genomic variants that can provide insights into health and disease to benefit all populations.
