New Border Control Post (PCF) at Intergroup Terminal in Gaeta! We are pleased to announce that a new Border Control Post (PCF - Punto di Controllo Frontaliero) has been authorized at our Intergroup terminal in Gaeta! PCFs are regional offices of the Ministry of Health, authorized to carry out official inspections on products imported into the EU from non-EU countries. These inspections cover goods intended for human consumption, animal feed, materials intended to come into contact with food, as well as animal by-products and derived products not intended for human consumption. These controls involve more stringent requirements compared to standard import procedures and must be completed before any customs clearance or transfer of goods to customs warehouses. A big thank you to the Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli (ADM) for their proactive support, and special thanks to Fabiana Monacciani and Tommaso Guerrera for their dedication and effort in making this project a success.
