What is your experience with cranes in handling? 🏗️ In this video, we demonstrate how the biggest and heaviest components are transported to our machines. Before precision manufacturing and well-executed machining operations begin, handling the components is an essential aspect to consider. As you can see, these operations are quite tricky and require a reasonable number of eyes, hands and lifting systems. Teamwork does it all, and the coordination between the involved guys plays a central role 🦾 For this reason, Ismec's operators trust each other and themselves, ensuring success is guaranteed. The installation of the new operating center here at Ismec - lathe Tacchi FTD/C 1.600 x 14.000 132H CNC - is proceeding smoothly ➡️ The machine is set to be ready and operational starting from next January. Equipped with Siemens 840D numerical control, a capacity of 150 tons on the base and a length of 14 meters between the centers, it will be the largest lathe among others in our manufacturing plant. This will allow Ismec to grant more requests and address gaps in the market for heavy precision mechanics, offering a range of services and solutions wider than ever before! These tests are conducted in line with procedures and specific customer requests. During inspections, tests are led by Ismec's quality department in combination with examiners. External professional testers can be consulted upon request.
