Con profonda tristezza abbiamo appreso della scomparsa di Mario Torrisi, avvenuta questa mattina. Mario è stato non solo un caro amico e un compagno di tante battaglie, ma anche una figura determinante per il nostro territorio. È stato uno dei promotori principali che ha reso possibile l'apertura della sede di Selenia Spazio, oggi Leonardo, a Catania, affrontando con coraggio e determinazione numerose avversità. Successivamente, insieme a mio fratello e a lui, abbiamo fondato l'Antech, un progetto che abbiamo condotto per molti anni con passione e impegno, unendo le nostre competenze e visioni per creare qualcosa di innovativo e significativo. La sua costante voglia di mettersi in gioco e di costruire qualcosa di importante ha lasciato un segno indelebile in tutti noi. Il suo ricordo vivrà nel cuore di chi ha avuto il privilegio di conoscerlo e di collaborare con lui. In questo momento di dolore, ci stringiamo attorno alla sua famiglia e a tutti coloro che gli hanno voluto bene. Mario ci ha lasciato un'eredità preziosa e il suo esempio continuerà a guidarci. As a company, we are always seeking opportunities to support initiatives that elevate Sicily’s profile and give the region the recognition it deserves. Oggi voglio rendere omaggio a una persona straordinaria, Antonio Saitto, che ci ha lasciati troppo presto. Antonio non è stato solo un amico caro, ma anche un grande uomo, una persona che ha dedicato la sua vita alla conoscenza e alla cultura, sempre con umiltà e passione.Il suo sapere non era mai ostentato, ma era profondo e vasto. Con la sua intelligenza e la sua curiosità, è stato uno dei pionieri del settore spaziale, contribuendo con le sue conoscenze e il suo entusiasmo all'avanzamento di un campo che richiede visione, dedizione e coraggio.Non dimenticherò mai le nostre conversazioni, in cui riusciva sempre a trasmettere il suo amore per la scienza e per l'esplorazione dello spazio, ma anche la sua umanità, la sua generosità e il suo spirito indomito. Last week, from June 11th to 13th, the AD Manufacturing Workshop and the 58th #Captech Meeting took place in #Catania at the #HotelPlaza. The #Mayor of Catania, Enrico Trantino, supported the event, recognizing its importance as the city aims to become a center for science in the coming years.
