🎊 Last month, Kerry Project Logistics in Italy successfully planned and executed the transport of a boiler for one of its key long-term customers. Weighing 220 tons, and measuring over 17 meters long, 10 meters wide, and 11 meters high, this Boiler was transferred and loaded onto a chartered breakbulk vessel before its voyage to Egypt by Kerry Project Logistics Italy’s professional teams. “Kerry Project Logistics Italy, after breaking in 2023 its record for the heaviest LOLO operation, is more than ever active with coordinating the movement of project cargo, and more specifically heavy and out of gauge cargo. 🇳🇬 Kerry Project Logistics in Nigeria successfully executed the RORO operation (Roll On Roll Off) of one of its key long term customers’ Living Quarter.    Weighing 630 tons, and measuring 27 meters long, 24 meters wide, and 18 meters high, this Living Quarter was transferred last weekend from the storage yard onto the working 5500 tons barge of the customer by Kerry Project Logistics Nigeria’s professional teams, using their fully owned equipment.   “Our scope was to prepare all technical documentation, job risk analysis, before getting the approval by our customer. During the execution, we mobilized 2 configurations, 19 axles each, of our owned Heavy-Duty Haulage equipment together with 2 of our prime movers. On Saturday we positioned the equipment at the yard, loaded it on the 2 x 19 axles modules, and performed the pre-transport to quay side. On Sunday, when the tide allowed the operation, we finally rolled on from the quay side onto the barge where the Living Quarters were finally positioned.
