Aligned with EU directives, our objective is to promote cutting-edge solutions to mitigate resource consumption and GHG emissions, foster Circular Economy practices, and encourage the utilization of renewable resources. Our research focuses on product and process innovation complemented by sustainable business models, ensuring the economic viability of green solutions. We strive to develop innovative solutions that enhance comfort, well-being, and safety in both working and non-working environments. Società Benefit, written in collaboration with Glass to Power and researched within the MC2dot0 project led by TNO, presents actionable strategies to scale up the adoption of Building-Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) technologies, unlocking their potential to transform cities into energy self-sufficient ecosystems in the facade industry dealing with the complexity of the evolving European and national regulatory frameworks emphasizing climate neutrality by 2050. 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲 1️⃣ A 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗱𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 for managing complexity in BIPV design that is applicable to multiple building components. 2️⃣ A 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀 to identify challenges in the design of continuous BIPV facade systems. 3️⃣ A 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 for integrating architectural, technological, economic, and environmental considerations into BIPV design.
