Last week was an eventful one for #LIFTT, with our team involved in many activities in Paris. ✔️ Pierluigi Freni joined both the #InvestEUPortal Deeptech Summit and the EIC - European Innovation Council Investors Day, where he participated in a panel discussion on the state of European #Quantum investing alongside VCs such as Omnes and Vektor Partners, and had the chance to meet ambitious entrepreneurs who are shaping the future of #technology in Europe. ✔️ Alessandra Scotti and Alice Mariotti attended Hello Tomorrow, one of the most influential #deeptech event in Europe, that provided an opportunity to connect with many startups, co-investors and investors. ✔️ At Hello Tomorrow our Chairman Stefano Buono was also invited to present newcleo and the future of #nuclearenergy in the panel "Growing Nuclear Capacity to Power Tomorrow". We are proud to announce our first co-investment with the European Investment Bank (EIB) in DRIVESEC - We Secure Your Things through #LIFTTEuroInvest, the €100 million investment inititiative created thanks to the partnership between LIFTT and the #EIB. #Drivesec, the Italian cybersecurity company specialising in #securitysolutions for the Internet of Things (#IoT), secured a €3 million Series A round together with EIB and Levante Capital. ✔️ Drivesec has closed 2024 with over €1 million in revenues and provides #cybersecurity solutions for industries such as #automotive, #home appliances and #medicaldevices.
