Empowering the next generation of innovators 🌍   We had the pleasure of hosting our first #Hackathon in collaboration with the BBS Alumni Association of the Bologna Business School! Bologna Business School - Università di Bologna!    It was a great day of activities: more than 30 participants divided into 6 teams worked on 2 challenges. More than 10 mentors, professors and our own professionals, supported the teams and then proclaimed the winners💪   🤝 A truly #useful and #inspiring project both for the attendees and our colleagues involved: the mutual exchange of ideas aimed at #innovation is crucial for us at Maccaferri.   Thanks to the Hackathon Alumni Team, our colleagues and all the participants!   #MaccaferriPeople

Officine Maccaferri is pleased to announce the appointment of Stefano Susani as the Group's new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Stefano Susani takes over from Lapo Vivarelli Colonna, who will assume the new role of Group Senior Vice President.   With 30 years of experience in the infrastructure and sustainability sector, Stefano Susani will be responsible for the leadership of the Group, thus contributing to the achievement of the ambitious goals set out in the strategic plan. These include both organic and inorganic growth, through targeted acquisitions in strategic sectors and geographies, and the consolidation of the operational results that have already been achieved through the strengthening of the supply chain.   At the same time, the Board of Directors appointed Fabio Roppoli as the new Chief Operating Officer, who will supervise the Group's manufacturing and industrial operations.   The Group expresses its heartfelt thanks to Lapo Vivarelli Colonna, who has played a central role in the transformation and repositioning of Maccaferri in recent years.
