Located on the second floor of the luxurious Kingdom Centre shopping complex, in the heart of the city, the store spans 200 square meters, showcasing men’s and women’s ready-to-wear and accessories. The opening marks a significant milestone for Marni’s future business development in the Middle East, in conjunction with the year of the brand’s 30th anniversary. Providing an up-to-date interpretation of luxury shopping, the boutique offers an immersive and engaging experience that combines rigor and subversion, transposing Marni’s unique creative vision.

    Model Kendall Jenner and musician Teezo Touchdown star in #Marni’s new digital campaign for the Fall/Winter 2024 collection, photographed by Colin Dodgson in the golden light of Los Angeles suburbia. Drawing a whimsical contrast between the domesticity of the setting, and the stunning, statement pieces from the collection, the pair embody the Marni spirit of eccentricity, comfort, and family. Vibrant images, captured through characteristic warm yellow hues of Dodgson’s analog photography in the house’s interiors, showcase Kendall Jenner and Teezo Touchdown in key looks from the runway. The quintessential motifs of suburban paradise, white picket fences and all, draw an intentional tension with the animalic charisma of the collection. Rich, primal textures encourage a shedding of predefined structures, engaging in a sensual and powerful dialogue with the camera. The shots also highlight Marni’s iconic TRUNKAROO bag, connecting the brand’s past and future design codes. Reducing the silhouette to its purest form, the bag becomes the central element of the campaign: a bold statement of modern elegance that stands out in the narrative.

    On the occasion of The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Benefit celebrating the exhibition 'Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion', Nicki Minaj, Charli XCX, Rita Ora and Taika Waititi wore custom-made Marni looks envisioned by the brand's creative director Francesco Risso. Global icon Nicki Minaj, who walked the carpet alongside Creative Director Francesco Risso in custom Marni, wore a sculptural hourglass dress crafted from yellow silk duchesse, hand-painted with gold, light green and black accents, and adorned with three-dimensional flowers. Modernizing a ’50s silhouette, the dress features a multitude of sculpted flowers, modeled from hand-painted aluminum leaves, stemming from the fabric to create the illusion of a blossoming bouquet. The look is completed with a matching one-of-a-kind Trunkaroo bag along with pointed-toe silk satin pumps and floral-inspired jewelry designed for the occasion. Creative Director Francesco Risso wears a tonal gray suit complete with pointed lace up shoes.  Artist Charli XCX attended the gala wearing a white draped gown crafted from patchworked vintage t-shirts from the 1950s and 1970s. Hand-sewn by fifteen seamstresses at the Marni atelier in Milan, the dress is fully embroidered with rhinestones and glass beads, with a tonal thread dissolving into the fabric. Requiring two-hundred hours of workmanship, the delicate embroidery and finely visible stitches emphasize the brand’s signature “mending”, a staple across Marni collections. Artist and musician Rita Ora wore an open silhouette composed of a tapestry of floor-length strands of multicolored beads, over a nude bodysuit made of sheer viscose jersey that proudly reveals the human form. Combining Murano glass beads from the 1940s and 1970s with antique crystal beads sourced from across the globe, this special creation has been meticulously handcrafted in Marni’s ateliers in Milan to celebrate the beauty of the body through an intricate interplay of glimmers and refractions. Leather nude sandals complete the look. Academy Award®-winning writer, director, and actor Taika Waititi attended the gala wearing a head-to-toe soft chocolate brown nappa leather ensemble. The tailored jacket showcases clean, sharp lines, contrasting the soft silhouette of the pleated trousers. This is complemented by a tonal leather shirt, tie and skin-tight gloves. A newly-introduced dress shoe, crafted from one seamless piece of calfskin, adds the final touch to the striking all-leather outfit.  #METGALA #OTBGroup

    #Marni is proud to announce that Creative Director Francesco Risso is among the honorees of the 2024 #GQCreativityAwards: a program that celebrates the most recognized cultural influencers of today. Held in New York City on April 11, GQ’s second-annual gala “Big Ideas for a Better World”, pays homage to the industry-spanning innovators who are setting the tone for an increasingly multidisciplinary, creativity-minded world. Presented by American singer-songwriter and friend of the house Erykah Badu, Risso has been honored for his work to date at Marni, having successfully led the brand into a new era. Since his appointment in 2016, Risso has promoted a visceral creativity by creating collections rooted in tactility and blending different disciplines into a multifaceted whole. L’iniziativa, che pone al centro il benessere della collettività aziendale, offre la possibilità a tutti i dipendenti del brand, parte del gruppo #OTB, di effettuare nel corso del mese di marzo, presso l’headquarter di Milano e negli store d’Italia, visite di prevenzione del tumore del seno e della pelle, realizzate da medici qualificati del territorio attraverso apparecchiature di ultima generazione. This new agreement solidifies Coty’s commitment to strengthening its presence in the luxury fragrance segment through a long-term partnership with Marni, establishing a coalition grounded in shared values of expertise, innovation and forward-thinking creativity. The first offering under this licensing agreement is expected to launch in 2026. The collection will focus on translating Marni’s creative and fashion-forward identity into the realm of beauty. With the launch building on Marni’s distinct brand equity to deliver a premium offering, it promises a unique and elevated beauty experience for consumers. Through the agreement with Marni, Coty strengthens its partnership with #OTB Group.
