Collezione Maramotti presents a new group exhibition Drawing inspiration from the concept of catastrophe and the many different ways in which it is represented, #CollezioneMaramotti is delighted to present a group show built around works from its archive dating from the 1970s to the present – many of them never previously exhibited in Italy – along with several masterpieces of the past on loan from prestigious institutions. 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙁𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙙𝙨 📌 27 October 2024 – 16 February 2025 Shipwrecks, explosions, hurricanes, floods, fires, wars, epidemics, human actions that ravage nature: can catastrophe be seen as a form of discovery? What private and shared imaginaries does it evoke, with its implication of “reversal” and “upheaval”; what visions for our journey through this world? MARELLA FW24 | MONOCHROME COLLECTION Il quiet luxury si veste di bianco lana, navy, testa di moro e tortora con la collezione Monochrome AI24. The definition of an identity capsule wardrobe is the concept behind Marella Monochrome, a collection with a quiet luxury soul, which offers looks in four statement colours – brown, greige, white and blue with an aristocratic taste – and which knows how to renew itself every season. The Autumn-Winter 2024 Marella Monochrome collection is a perfect balance of old money allure and sensuality. Two main threads run through this season: on the one hand, a hyper-feminine interpretation of the saloon trend with long fringes embellishing men’s fit trousers, mohair pullovers and blouses. On the other, precious knitwear, which becomes the protagonist of total looks in wool, cashmere and viscose, such as the dress with a wrap-around silhouette and the belted long coat. Space is given to experimentation with volumes and lengths and the introduction of new silhouettes, such as the shorts and the sleeveless waistcoat. Silk-blend satin, soft-touch flannel and the ever-present stretch viscose: the choice of fabrics confirms the focus on responsible materials such as organic cottons, recycled fibres, but also upcycling padding such as Cameluxe and cellulose fibres from controlled forest management. The Autumn-Winter 2024 Marella Monochrome digital campaign represents a minimalist and highly sophisticated aesthetics in which a delicate femininity with a powerful message is portrayed. #Marella

The exclusive event, dedicated to press and influencers and held during Fashion Week, was an opportunity to discover the collection, which will be available from March 2025. Nominated for Tony, Grammy, and Critics Choice Awards, Ashley Park is a well-known figure in the international film and television scene, especially for her role as ‘Mindy Chen’ in the popular Netflix series "Emily in Paris".  "Joy Ride", "Beef" and "Only Murders in the Building" are just some of her appearances on the big and small screen, as well as numerous successful roles in Broadway plays, including "Mean Girls", for which she received several nominations and prestigious awards. “The overall feel of the collection captures the light-hearted vibrancy of summer and the joy and ease of those memorable moments during unforgettable getaways on the stunning Mediterranean coasts." Sportmax Spring/Summer 2025 Fashion Show Watch the full show on Sportmax's Youtube channel: https://lnkd.in/d6mgxgnx Discover the backstage content on the official TikTok channel: https://lnkd.in/dxPSbgMh - The SS25 collection is dedicated to the artistry of Sportmax. An exercise in intuition and precision, innovation and restraint, this stripped-back collection celebrates the creative process and the innate versatility that defines Sportmax. Instinctive volumes wrapped directly on the body, the silhouettes explore a fluid sculpturality that merges expertise and the functionality. In the vaulted alcoves of the Pinacoteca di Brera, the runway presentation of this collection finds a unique resonance that ties it to the rich and layered legacies of Italian craft. A haven for aspiring artists and masters alike, its arena of centennial sculptures looks over the stark white catwalk in a maximal-meets-minimal friction that exposes the shifting tone of the Sportmax narrative. As the flow of monochromatic silhouettes fills the space, an eroded palette of mineral hues - aquamarine, sand, citrine, ruby - illuminate the procession of black and white ensembles, echoing the decorative details of the neo-classic courtyard. In one, sculpting sweep of the hand, architectural jerseys and soft-tailored sartorial emerge from the curves of the body and embrace its movement. Throughout, asymmetric transparencies and organic plays on layering create an optical energy that invigorates its visual language. In the shadow of elongated cuffs and hems, an array of prismic accessories and crystal embroideries evoke the freedom of a body in motion. Seen in fresh colours, the Soffy bag, a soft, pillow-like purse with twisting ‘S’ hardware makes its runway debut, broadening the line’s practical appeal.  From structured outerwear, to denim classics or leather gowns, the dedication to light-weight and malleable fabrications expresses the technical evolutions at the heart of the new Sportmax wardrobe. In an ode to spring, plunging necklines and deep slits reveal the fierce femininity of geometric constructions and expand the modular potential of the collection. Composed around a renewed vocabulary of shape, texture and colour, the free-form structure of the season invites itself to the infinite sensuality of the essential.   After a tour on the catwalk at the Sportmax Spring-Summer 2025 show, the Soffy Bag will be available for purchase from 20th September on sportmax.com and in the boutiques in Milan, Via Spiga 20, and Paris, Rue Des Saints-Pères 72. #SportmaxSS25

Collezione Maramotti is delighted to announce Dominique White | Deadweight Max Mara Art Prize for Women in collaboration with Whitechapel Gallery - 9th edition 27 October 2024 – 16 February 2025 After its first presentation at the Whitechapel Gallery in London, Collezione Maramotti is the next stop for this project by Dominique White, winner of the ninth edition of the Max Mara Art Prize for Women (2023 - 2024). It features new sculptures developed during a six-month Italian residency in Agnone, Palermo, Genoa, Milan and Todi. The jumping-off point for these works is “deadweight tonnage”, a technical concept used in the shipping industry to calculate how much weight a vessel can carry without sinking. Over the course of her residency, the artist explored the meaning and use of this idea, its past role in the slave trade, and its contemporary forms in the Mediterranean.   🔵 More info here: https://lnkd.in/eZeP5U4T . . . 📷 Whitechapel Gallery Editions. MARELLA FW24 LE MUSE Classical elements converge with a surreal realm crafted by Artificial Intelligence. Marella presents Le Muse, the collection of bags designed to become this season’s object of desire. Two styles, mini and medium, multiple colours and materials are immortalised in Marella’s first campaign dedicated to accessories. Formerly protectors of the arts and guardians of knowledge, in their modern version the Muses are iconic women: unique, eclectic and feminine, thanks also to their immediately distinctive looks. Marella Le Muse bags are designed for those moments that transcend the ordinary, when artistic inspiration strikes. The seductive imagination linked to the goddesses of the Greek myth is translated into the images of the Autumn-Winter 2024 Marella campaign, captured by Charlie Engman, one of the most influential and experimental contemporary photographers in the field of Artificial Intelligence. The images represent the fusion of aesthetic elements belonging to the classical world other elements of a more surreal and futuristic nature, echoing the main inspiration behind the project. To celebrate the launch of Marella's first accessories campaign, two of its iconic bags were recreated in oversized versions, in bold red and fuchsia. The journey began with LE MUSE parading through the streets of Naples, before making their way to Milan, turning heads of locals and tourists alike. After the excitement in these two cities, the adventure continues: where will they go next? #Marella
