What better time for the Mexican City Grand Prix weekend than in closer to the famous Mexican holiday of "Dia de los Muertos." The top management of Formula 1 and Liberty Media must have thought this through when drawing up the busy schedule of the last seasonal events outside the European territory. We are in Mexico City, at about 2,000 meters above sea level: here, the more rarefied air does not facilitate the generation of #downforce forcing the teams to aerodynamic solutions typical of the city circuits. So watch out also for the cooling of brakes and power units but above all for the sliding of the single-seaters that can trigger #graining phenomena on the tires, a characteristic phenomenon in past seasons here in #Mexico

MegaRide - applied vehicle research and #VESevo, spin-off companies of the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, proudly participated in the special 800th anniversary celebration event at the Tata innovation Center in New York. As part of the university’s #internationalization program, the group had the opportunity to share our #story, kicking off in university labs and growing into a #global scale.

After a three-week break here we are at the first triple in three weeks with the US Mexico City and Brazil GPs. This time, compared to the summer break, the teams have been able to work during these weeks: who knows if there will be new solutions on the grid. Circuit of The Americas is very demanding, with several sections that engage a lot in lateral and the presence of long straights requires high aerodynamic efficiency and good top speeds on the straight. The #tires will be very stressed quite comparably for both longitudinal and lateral. Medium levels of #abrasiveness are to be expected while levels of thermal #degradation are to be cautioned.
