The Milano Cortina 2026 Foundation was established on December 9, 2019. In compliance with the provisions contained in the Olympic Charter, in the Code of Ethics of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), and in the Agreement signed in Lausanne on 24 June 2019 (Host City Contract), the Milano Cortina 2026 Foundation will carry out all the organizational, promotional and communication activities for the sporting and cultural events related to the staging of the XXV Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in 2026. The bodies of the Foundation include the Board of Directors, the Management Committee, and the Board of Statutory Auditors. Giovanni Malagò is the President of the Milano Cortina 2026 Foundation as well as the President of the Board of Directors. The CEO of the Milano Cortina 2026 Foundation is Andrea Varnier. The IOC, the Italian National Olympic Committee, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the two cities, Milano and Cortina, are all partners in this major national-level project, that has also the support of the Italian Government, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen. We have all joined forces to create a memorable and sustainable edition of the Games that will create a legacy for the country and inspire future generations.

Dalla montagna al mare. Si è svolta nel weekend la 56esima edizione della Barcolana, la regata velica più partecipata del mondo in cui oltre 1750 barche si sono sfidate nel golfo di #Trieste. Tra le imbarcazioni presenti anche la Prosecco DOC Shockwave3, la barca di Consorzio di Tutela della DOC Prosecco DOC Sparkling Wine Sponsor di #MilanoCortina2026, che proprio alla vigilia della regata ha accolto tra il suo equipaggio le Mascotte dei Giochi del 2026, Tina e Milo. Dopo aver navigato tra le acque del golfo triestino, i due ermellini hanno animato Piazza Unità attirando la curiosità dei cittadini, dai piccoli ai più grandi. Questa attività si inserisce nell'ambito del programma "Italia dei Giochi" con cui Milano Cortina 2026, in collaborazione con CONI e Comitato Italiano Paralimpico, vuole celebrare su tutto il territorio nazionale la presenza delle #Olimpiadi e #Paralimpiadi italiane del 2026, promuovendo i valori dello sport, dell’Olimpismo e del Paralimpismo, dell’inclusione, della sostenibilità e della pratica sportiva. Un programma per far vivere la magia dei Giochi del 2026 anche al di fuori delle sedi di gara, lasciando una legacy per il futuro dell’intera comunità nazionale.

Le Cerimonie di #MilanoCortina2026 e il Viaggio della Fiamma Olimpica e Paralimpica saranno esempio del talento e dello Spirito Italiano. La realizzazione delle Cerimonie di Apertura e Chiusura dei Giochi Olimpici e Paralimpici del 2026 è stata assegnata a tre società italiane, leader nel proprio settore. Live the dream! Tickets prices for Milano Cortina 2026 have been revealed and the ticket registration process is now open for the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. For the Olympic Winter Games, tickets will start at 30 euros, with more than 20% of tickets available for under 40 euros and more than half (57%) priced at under 100 euros. Tickets for the Paralympic Winter Games (March 6-15, 2026) will start at 10 euros for children under 14, and with more than 200,000 tickets (about 89% of those on sale for the Paralympic Games) available for less than 35 euros. Questa volta Margherita ha partecipato alla Salomon Running Milano e ci ha portato nei luoghi iconici della città che ospiterà i prossimi Giochi invernali. 🤝 Si è svolto ieri il secondo appuntamento di Building Bridges, Together, l'evento di networking promosso e ideato da Milano Cortina 2026. Ospiti della Regione Lombardia presso la sala panoramica "Enzo Jannacci", i Partners e gli stakeholders presenti hanno trovato un contesto ottimale dove poter costruire e consolidare le relazioni e condividere idee e progetti da sviluppare insieme. Ad accogliere e dare il benvenuto ai presenti, e a coloro collegati da remoto, ing. Aldo Colombo, Direttore centrale PNRR, Olimpiadi e digitalizzazione e il nostro Chief Revenue Officer Nevio DEVIDE'. Nel corso di Building Bridges, Together le funzioni di Ticketing, Hospitality, Sustainability, Product Development, Licensing e Legacy hanno avuto modo di presentare i rispettivi progetti, i prodotti in via di sviluppo e di condividere aggiornamenti utili per i futuri passi avanti in vista dei prossimi Giochi Invernali. Successivamente ha preso il via il Technology Working Group, che ha l'obiettivo di affrontare e studiare le innovazioni e gli sviluppi tecnologici, in funzione degli sport Olimpici e Paralimpici. Al via la seconda edizione del Corso di Laurea Magistrale in Management delle Attività Sportive Innovative e Sostenibili LM47 (SportIS) presso la sede di Vicenza, Dipartimento di Management - Università di Verona, in collaborazione con il Dipartimento di Neuroscienze, Biomedicina e Movimento. Sono sempre più strette le relazioni con organizzazioni, federazioni e fondazioni in ambito dello sport business. Un grazie speciale a Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026, che nell'ambito dell'Education Programme #Gen26 di Milano Cortina 2026 offre concrete opportunità di crescita per i giovani che desiderano lavorare nel mondo dello sport management e della gestione degli eventi sportivi. Obiettivo del corso è creare #competenze interdisciplinari in ambito manageriale-economico-aziendale, giuridico e motorio-sportivo al fine di formare futuri esperti e professionisti che potranno operare in tre contesti differenti e complementari che rappresentano altrettanti sbocchi occupazionali in grande crescita: #sportmanager, figura professionale recentemente istituita dal DL 36 del 28 febbraio 2021, specializzata nel gestire #impiantisportivi, aziende e organizzazioni; responsabili nella gestione di #eventisportivi e #comunicazione presso le organizzazioni specializzate nello sport business; infine professionisti in grado di assumere incarichi di team manager per la gestione di atleti o squadre di atleti. Il tutto con una particolare focalizzazione sui temi dell’ #innovazione e #sostenibilità, che si rivelano centrali sia nella progettazione e gestione dei moderni impianti sportivi e delle organizzazioni sportive, sia per favorire progetti di sviluppo sociale in ottica di integrazione tra #sportesalute. Non solo: l’innovazione è un tema centrale anche per lo sviluppo di campagne di comunicazione, social-media engagement e sviluppo di modalità di interazione digitale nel mondo dello sport.
