Meet in Italy for Life Sciences

Since 2014, Meet in Italy for Life Sciences has achieved the main stage and it has been the main international event in Italy. In the previous editions we had more than 130 enterprise europe networks involved, more than 700 startups at the BROKERAGE EVENT and more than 110 startups selected for STARTUP BREEDING, with over 30 participating countries.  All the Life Sciences stakeholders (companies, startups, research centers, investors, clinicians, public organizations) had the chance to meet, explore and discuss about partnering, investments, business opportunities and the latest trends in the sector. During the latest edition of Meet in Italy for Life Sciences the event was opened by a welcome session held by Francesco De Santis, Vice-President for Research and Development Confindustria, Alessandro Aresu, Head of the Technical Secretary Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR) and Massimiliano Boggetti, President Cluster Nazionale Scienze della Vita ALISEI. Besides the institutional greetings, out guests focused on the key role of the Ministry as a strategic ally to drive impact through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), with the aim of working collaboratively with the Cluster and its associated and the other stakeholders in the Life Sciences sector. #MIT4LS #meetinitalyforlifesciences #lifesciences

Meet in Italy for Life Sciences ended with a special Gala Dinner opened by Massimiliano Boggetti, President Cluster Nazionale Scienze della Vita ALISEI, who addressed the topic of Industry 5.0, followed by the speech of Barbara Lunghi, Head of Primary Markets Borsa Italiana, who presented data on how much Life Sciences are involved in investments, in Italy and in Europe. The dinner had a particular focus on the world of finance, with the aim of closing the cycle of innovation that, during the day, started from early-stage research and moved to startups, industry and all the other essential players.
