European Film Market – EFM is approaching fast. Mnemonica will be there as usual but this year it will be special.
Our naming comes from a Greek word that can be translated as 'the art of memorizing'. When we started our project on a piece of paper in 2015 - ten years ago, ouch! - the goal was to give a house to the so-called masters. An agglomerate of media files composing the digital original of a story.
At those times, as a #startup, we had no position in the market to disrupt long-term archiving with a cloud solution. So, the first pivotal change of our project was to go with 'low-res' files and create a comfy environment where, during production and post phases, people and media met, exchanging files and ideas.
So we found ourselves in the battle of MAMs, where our #pirate #garage had to cross swords against big US tech companies. And our galleon held strong in our country - no pasaran - and they didn't. Today 100% of Italian top producers work with us, and we occupied 85% of the box office whilst having a retain rate of 95%.
Then we put the bow in the north-westerly direction. And now more and more foreign producers are joining our human-centered, AI-free, MAM rebellion. Forces are joining us freely, with no marketing aggression, driven primarily by the best publicity we could desire: word of mouth. Happy users sharing their experience with friends.
Now this story comes to its climax. Mnemonica Tre (3.0) is ready to be revealed and our mission will be accomplished. The pirates of Mnemonica have breached the bay, and the weapons have sharpened for battle! We're coming for those precious LTOs and hard drives, those rusty chains holding your archives hostage. Your content deserves to break free from these penny-pinching prison boxes.
