Venice, a city of unparalleled beauty and history, exists in a delicate balance between its past and future. Today, as we approach the end of the Venice Film Festival, one of the main events of the Venice Biennale, we can clearly appreciate the essence of this magical city: the festival is a testament to Venice's dual nature—celebrating both its centuries-old artistic legacy and its dynamic role as a global cultural hub. Restoration is the key to preserving this unique duality, ensuring that Venice's past continues to inform its future. Neri has been collaborating with this UNESCO heritage city for decades to restore and preserve its historic lighting equipment. From the iconic Light 600 circular lantern to countless cast iron posts and brackets, we are helping to maintain the city’s timeless beauty. Our work focuses on careful restoration, using original designs and materials to ensure authenticity and honor Venice's legacy. Not only do we preserve the physicality of these historic objects as they were originally conceived, but we also integrate innovative technology into the process. By equipping the restored lighting with advanced LED technologies, we enhance functionality while maintaining the aesthetic charm of the past.   Learn more about our project: https://lnkd.in/d-W9eF9T

An Urban Regeneration Project for Forlì Nebula, designed in collaboration with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), has been chosen by the Laprimastanza Architecture Studio to illuminate the new parking lot on Viale Corridoni in Forlì, near the university campus, reclaiming a previously abandoned area.
