This groundbreaking 10-meter daysailer, launched by Cantiere del Pardo S.p.A., represents a new standard in sustainable yachting, as it is the first yacht from a major shipyard built with our rComposite® technology. ♻️ We’re thrilled to share the outstanding results from recyclability testing of our innovative #rComposite® material, conducted by the laboratories of Composite Recycling. The tests, based on their advanced thermolysis process, delivered exceptional outcomes. #Fibers: Clean, soft, and pliable. Electron microscope imaging revealed almost no residue, highlighting their high potential for reuse in new composite materials. #Oil: Close to 80% of recovered molecules were identified as methyl methacrylate (MMA), a key building block for high-performance composites. ✅ This milestone confirms the viability of a circular approach for thermoplastic composites, paving the way for sustainable innovation in marine, wind energy, and beyond.
