Clava Sports has received a strategic investment from the tba network. With over 110,000 downloads and 7 million monthly page views, their amateur football platform is well positioned to expand its reach across Italy by autumn 2025, offering new features to enhance the experience for players, coaches, and fans. Bikeflip was featured in Il Sole 24 Ore, highlighting their recent success in securing €1.6 million in funding to expand their marketplace for buying and selling used bikes to all EU countries. They also launched a new type of packaging designed to reduce shipping costs while better protecting bikes during transport. 2025 is shaping up to be a promising year for these two founding teams. Our Start-up Incubator, together with the whole NOI network, is committed to supporting their growth and success.

In the heart of our innovation district, the new Faculty of Engineering of the Freie Universität Bozen sets a bold example of how architecture can shape a sustainable future. This state-of-the-art building isn’t just a space for learning - it’s a living, breathing ecosystem of innovation. With over 600 m² of lush green terraces promoting biodiversity, a facade of aluminium panels honouring the site’s industrial heritage, and recycled South Tyrolean porphyry materials reducing waste, every detail reflects a commitment to environmental responsibility. The porous design invites natural light to sculpt its interiors, creating spaces that inspire creativity and collaboration. The building integrates passive strategies to minimise energy use for heating and cooling, with features like triple-glazed windows, natural ventilation through patios, and a second metal skin that reduces solar radiation by over 50%. It’s a testament to what’s possible when design, technology, and sustainability work hand in hand.
