Announcement: this is the final boarding call for the Techstars Demo Day in Torino. 🚀 The 2024 edition of Techstars Transformative World Torino – an initiative of Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center, and Fondazione CRT – draws to a close. After 13 weeks of intense work, the Demo Day is just around the corner: in less than two days, the 12 world-class startups we meticulously selected from around the globe will take the stage at OGR Torino to showcase how their solutions can enable fundamental transformation across the entire ESG/SDG spectrum. Just to give you a sneak peek of the companies that will be pitching: 7 of them are led by female CEOs, 6 of them are based in Italy, and 5 of them are in the Deep Tech space. Unfortunately (or fortunately), the live ceremony has been sold-out for days, but the show will be streamed online. Our Alumni companies have achieved remarkable success, raising 90+ M€ in post-program funding, securing 50+ PoC agreements with Italian clients, and creating 500+ jobs across geographies and industries (with more exciting announcements to come during the live ceremony🔥). Putting it into perspective, there is more. By shifting the focus from the portfolio to the ecosystem at large, over the five completed editions, the program has mobilized a critical mass of talent, investments, and open innovation opportunities that bring us one step closer to our ultimate mission: placing Torino on the global map of innovation ecosystems. 🎯 In such a setting, it has been incredibly inspiring to serve as a Partner Liaison from day one and work elbow-to-elbow with like-minded colleagues like Adam Ubrankovics, Massimo Bottin, and Luigi Longo. Kudos to Martin Olczyk, Sheila Simon, Virginia Pigato, the Associates (dream) team, and the stellar roster of 200 (and counting) Mentors, without whom this amazing journey would not have been possible.
