Il Global gender gap parla chiaro: all'attuale ritmo di progresso ci vorranno 131 anni per raggiungere la piena parità, 162 per colmare il divario nell'emancipazione politica, 169 anni per il divario nelle opportunità economiche e 16 anni per il divario di genere nel livello di istruzione. Il Gruppo Imprenditrici Dirigenti per il Canavese e il Gruppo ICT di Confindustria Canavese hanno premiato con una borsa di studio 14 studentesse canavesane che si sono distinte per i risultati conseguiti nelle materie STEM. L’iniziativa rientra nell’ambito di STEAMiamoci, un progetto nazionale delle associazioni del sistema Confindustria, con il quale si intende promuovere la diversità di genere nel mondo imprenditoriale e in tutte le professioni scientifiche, tecnologiche e informatiche, anche attraverso attività di formazione e orientamento scolastico. Il premio consentirà alle giovani donne vincitrici (tutte studentesse frequentanti il 4° anno del corso di studi nell’anno scolastico 2023-2024) di seguire percorsi di formazione tecnico-professionale e studi universitari nell’ambito delle discipline STEM e di accedere in futuro a percorsi professionali di rilievo nel settore dell’innovazione e della tecnologia. Un ringraziamento particolare va alle 19 aziende associate a Confindustria Canavese che hanno reso possibile questa iniziativa: Bioindustry Park Silvano Fumero S.p.A. Società Benefit, CMB Industries, Delta visione, elaasta, Ergotech srl, ICAS S.p.A., Iltar-Italbox, Incomedia, Konecta, Laser – Your Digital Future, Merck Group, Message, Netsurf, Olivetti, Osai A.S. S.p.A. SB, RGI Group, Seica S.p.A., Tesi - Ivrea, Tiesse S.p.A, Fondazione Vodafone.
