A new publication on the Acorn Traser cup in a leading scientific journal! The study shows that the ACORN TRASER cup allows a more accurate and reliable measurement of (radiographic) anteversion on antero-posterior radiographs than standard monobloc dual-mobility cup due to the lower radiopacity of the titanium, which allows visualisation of the projection of the equatorial edge of the cup. 🛎️ ¡Importante publicación científica sobre el cotilo de titanio de alta porosidad y doble movilidad impreso en 3D de Permedica Orthopaedics! 🔎 El objetivo del estudio era investigar la precisión y fiabilidad de diferentes métodos de medición radiográfica de la anteversión del #cotilo en la #artroplastia total de cadera, comparando el nuevo dispositivo de titanio de doble movilidad con otros cotilos de doble movilidad. ✔️ Los autores concluyen que el de #Permedica permite una medición más precisa y fiable en radiografías anteroposteriores que el cotilo monobloque estándar, debido a la menor radiopacidad del titanio, que permite visualizar la proyección del borde ecuatorial de la prótesis.
