Our partner Morgan Motor Company has completed the first two Midsummer in production at Pickersleigh Road, destined for the UK and Germany. Created in recognition of the heyday of European barchetta designs, this special – limited to just 50 examples – represents a testament to coachbuilding and a statement of what craftsmen and women are capable of. A jewel born from the shared vision of Morgan and #Pininfarina, who have collaborated to reinterpret and celebrate the timeless Morgan silhouette.

1st Place in Major Competition! 🏆   Pininfarina Architecture and Eutropia Architettura, together with Weber Architects, Paisà Landscape and a large interdisciplinary group, have been awarded the international competition for the urban, architectural and functional redevelopment of the former Manifattura Tabacchi complex in Turin, announced by Agenzia del Demanio.   This visionary project, part of the urban redevelopment of the Regio Parco district, will transform the area into a vibrant cultural and educational hub. With a focus on sustainability and innovation, the project will host a new Archival and Cultural Pole, university facilities, and services for the community.

It is with profound sadness that we learn of the passing of Mr. Ratan Tata, Chairman Emeritus of Tata Group, a visionary leader, a compassionate entrepreneur, and a dear friend to Pininfarina. During challenging times, Mr. Tata stood by Pininfarina with unwavering support and friendship, demonstrating a level of empathy and understanding that left a lasting mark on all of us. His passion for design, his keen eye for beauty and innovation, provided a constant source of inspiration for our designers, guiding us to new heights in the projects we had the honor of developing for the Tata Group. We bid farewell to Mr. Tata with great affection and respect, remembering him not only as a giant in the world of business but as a man of immense character and grace. His influence will continue to inspire us, and his legacy will forever be intertwined with ours. Our deepest condolences go out to his family and all those who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.

Pininfarina continues to shape the future of electric mobility with the unveiling of the Model D, a sophisticated Lifestyle Multipurpose Utility Vehicle (LMUV) created in partnership with tech giant Foxconn. Revealed today at the fifth annual Hon Hai Tech Day (HHTD) in Taipei, the Model D is the latest addition to a growing lineup of electric vehicles born from the synergy between #Pininfarina’s design mastery and Foxconn’s technological prowess.   Following the meticulous craftsmanship seen in the Model E and Model B, the Model D was designed and built at Pininfarina’s prestigious atelier in Cambiano. This partnership highlights Pininfarina’s unmatched ability to "dress" advanced technology with style and functionality, building bridges with tech giants like Foxconn to shape the future of mobility.

Pininfarina is excited to announce the shortlist for our 2024/2025 Global Design Contest, themed “Materiality, the Umami of Mobility.” This year, we invited final-year students from selected international schools specializing in mobility design, interaction design, and architecture to envision the future of living and transportation, with a focus on the impactful role of materials in design.   Submissions were evaluated on three criteria: project fit, which assessed how well concepts aligned with the brief; execution quality, which measured the effectiveness of the poster communication; and project strength, which looked at the completeness and coherence of the ideas.   We are proud to present the talented participants who have made it through this rigorous evaluation process.
