Chi siamo

Poggiolecci was created by Josephine and Andrea Falchetti in 2005 from nothing. They bought 200 mature olive trees and planted 2200 together with a famous agronoma from Florence, chosing the Tuscan varieties most suited to serve elegant tastes but also each tree from four different "mothers" to guarantee the quality and stability of the oil's taste. In 2008 they started to make their own oil for the first time, testing the most suited harvesting and pressing techniques to their olive trees. And then having clients and re-known chefs from different nationalities taste it to find the right direction in which the product should evolve. In their 4th year of studying the best techniques to make the best product, the success was such that all the extra virgin olive oil was again sold out before it was made in 2011. In 2012 after having consolidated their classic blend OliVi, refined the Forte Cru and confirmed the softer Leggero Cru with only one variety of olives to please the most delicate palates. In 2014 we have started making tailor-made extra virgin olive oil Crus according to chefs' personal needs.
